Prof Hasan Maleki

Prof Hasan Maleki is ATU’s Vice-President for Social and Cultural Affairs since 2015. He is Full Professor of Education at the ATU Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Some of his curriculum vitae is provided below.

Education:

  • PhD Degree in Educational Planning (1991), from Tabriz University (Iran)
  • Master's Degree in Educational Planning (1987), from Teacher Training University (Iran)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Educational Planning (1976), from Teacher Training University (Iran)

Previous Administrative Positions:

  • Dean of ATU School of Graduate Studies, since 2014
  • Vice-President for Research, Allameh Tabataba'i University (Iran)
  • Dean of the Faculty of Psychology & Educational Sciences, Allameh Tabataba'i University (Iran)
  • Head of the Department of Educational Planning, Allameh Tabataba'i University (Iran)
  • Deputy-Minister for Education at the Parent and Teachers Community Organization (Iran)
  • Director General of the Office for Planning and Writing Textbooks (Iran)
  • Director General of the Office for Primary Education (Iran)
  • Director General of the Office for Guidance and Counselling (Iran)

Achievements:

  • Has authored more than 35 books and textbooks; edited and collected more than 4 books; and translated 3 books in the field of education
  • Has undertaken 8 research projects; supervised 34 research projects; and consulted many research projects in the field of education
  • Has supervised/advised more than 280 MA theses and PhD dissertations
