Diretorate for International Academic Cooperation

One of the strengths of Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), in national and regional levels, has been the extensive international academic collaborations with academicians from all around the world. It was in November 2012 when a new directorate was defined under the Research VP chart and about a dosen of specialised manpower was recruited to address the international needs of the university.
Since 2012, the DIAC is working in two offices: (1) the Office for Planning International Academic Collaborations, dealing with the planning and coordinating the activities; and (2) the Office for Developing International Academic Collaborations, dealing with the implementation phase of the international activities. The members working in the directorate for introduced at the end of the same page.

International MoUs and Agreements

The point of departure for many international activities and collaborations in ATU is the signature of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). In many cases, a clause in an MoU results in a binding, specialised agreement on academic cooperation.
